Operations Manager



Location: Las Vegas, NV

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

Reports To: Director of Logistics & Asset Management


Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics & Asset Management, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics and operational activities at an assigned Agility Recovery facility. At the site level, areas of oversight include equipment storage and warehousing, transportation and logistics, and the coordination of third-party equipment and services.

The ideal candidate has a strong bias toward proactive planning and organization, along with a solid warehousing and logistics background. This role requires a high level of project planning, analytical thinking, and cross-functional coordination to drive plans from initiation through completion. The Operations Manager will also use excellent communication skills to work with teammates across Agility Recovery and fulfill customer support needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Operations & Logistics

  • Manage day-to-day logistics activities at the assigned Agility Recovery facility, including equipment storage, transportation, shipping, receiving, and asset readiness.
  • Coordinate and lead asset repositioning to align equipment with customer testing and recovery schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate resource needs for customer testing, recovery support, and other service delivery activities.
  • Coordinate directed efforts to customer locations and manage reverse logistics required to reposition equipment.
  • Provide operational coverage for customer service delivery requirements, including participation in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
  • Maintain and support Agility Recovery assets, including Mobile Recovery Centers and the company mobile fleet.
  • Perform required monthly and quarterly preventive maintenance activities.


Vendor & Resource Management

  • Manage contracted third-party resources, including mobile equipment providers, fuel vendors, temporary labor agencies, data wiring subcontractors, transportation and logistics companies, and generator providers.
  • Ensure third-party resources are strategically and effectively engaged to support customer testing and recovery activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure required resources are available when needed.


Facility & Inventory Management

  • Oversee site-level facility activities, including preventive maintenance, building and equipment repairs, office supplies, and landlord relations.
  • Ensure site-related issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory controls and ensure required cycle counts are completed.
  • Monitor equipment readiness and ensure assets are properly maintained and available for customer deployments.


Financial & Process Management

  • Manage recurring expenses and operational expenditures within established budget guidelines.
  • Evaluate and improve existing operational processes to increase efficiency and ensure adherence to established procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics, asset management, and service delivery processes.


Customer & Cross-Functional Support

  • Participate in customer site tours, pre-sales calls, and other activities that support the sales process.
  • Partner with internal teams to coordinate customer testing and recovery support requirements.
  • Provide operational support to ensure customer needs are met effectively and on schedule.
  • Respond to changing priorities and adjust plans as needed to meet operational and customer requirements.


Team & On-Call Support

  • Serve as an active, hands-on member of the logistics team, working comfortably both on the floor and in an office environment.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide customer support during off-hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Support other operational activities and projects as assigned by management.


Qualifications


Experience:

  • 5+ years of related operations, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience coordinating logistics, vendors, equipment, inventory, or operational resources.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing operations is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • APICS and/or ISM Supply Chain certifications preferred.


Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
  • Up to 25% travel based on business needs.
