We're Hiring: Warehouse Associate - Spread the Word Nevada

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time - Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Since 2001, Spread the Word Nevada has put millions of books into the hands and homes of children across Nevada's underserved communities - inspiring a lifelong love of reading and brighter academic futures. Every one of those books starts its journey in our warehouse, and we're looking for someone ready to be part of that first step.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Associate I, you'll help keep our warehouse running so that books can reach the kids who need them most. You'll sort, bin, and box donations, help unload deliveries, and pitch in wherever the team needs a hand. No warehouse experience? No problem - if you're reliable, active, and excited about books, we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Do

• Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Sort, bin, and box incoming book donations
• Assist with receiving deliveries and volunteer clean-up days
• Unload delivery vehicles
• Report any accidents or injuries to the Warehouse Manager right away
• Pitch in on other warehouse tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• No prior experience required - we'll train you
• Comfortable with basic computer use, including Microsoft Office
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken
• Reliable and punctual - excellent attendance matters here
• Able to be on your feet for 8-hour shifts: standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs
• Reliable transportation to our Las Vegas warehouse
• A genuine interest in books and our literacy mission

Pay & Benefits

• $16.00 per hour, full-time
