TITLE: OTR CDL Truck Driver (A)

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The role of the CDL Driver is to safely deliver products and render outstanding service to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Legal eligibility to work in the US
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Current Class “A” CDL
• Current Medical Card
• Must be 24 years of age in accordance with Section 391.11(b)(1) of FMCR.
• Has a minimum of 2 years of experience operating tractor/trailer equipment.
• Acceptable Driving Records consist of:

• Up to three minor violations and zero accidents in the last 36 months,
• Up to two minor violations and one not at-fault accident in the last 36 months.
• No major violations in the last 5 years.  Major violations include, but are not limited to: DUI’s, reckless driving, distracted driving, cell phone usage and major speeding violations.

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime and weekends.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to work well under pressure and deal tactfully with others.
• Must be willing to drive Intrastate and/or Interstate
• Familiar with DOT Regulation.
• Workdays may range between 8 to 14 hours per day
• Work week may not exceed 70 hours
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including the checking of tire pressures.
