About the Role:
Azar International Inc is looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director / People Operations Manager to join our team in Kingston, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the people strategy of a growing organization, driving culture, talent, and operational excellence from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding
- Develop and implement people operations strategies aligned with company goals
- Manage compensation, benefits administration, and performance management programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and DEI efforts
- Partner with senior leadership to support organizational development and workforce planning
- Maintain and improve HRIS systems, HR policies, and employee handbooks
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or director-level role
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices
- Experience with HRIS platforms and people operations tools
- Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
