POSITION SUMMARY:
To plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in a variety of age groups according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. To collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team. To supervise work of support staff. To complete residency program requirements as outlined in completed and submitted Self-Evaluation Report Exhibits, to ensure full grasp of the knowledge, skills, and clinical reasoning to excel in the field of orthopedic physical therapy. Orthopaedic Residency Program
EDUCATION:
Possess at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university, except for an applicant who prior to January 1, 2003, possessed a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred. Current, permanent, unrestricted valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Current BLS Certification.

Special Skills/Qualifications • Current and Valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Current BLS Certification. • Standard Precautions. • Keyboard Skills. • Ability to perform work accurately and give attention to detail. • Ability to use effective critical thinking and analytical skills. • Ability to use effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities. • Ability to communicate and interact with relevant departments within the health-system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members in accordance with Valley’s SERVE and CARE standards. • Ability to interact with patients in stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing patient needs• APTA Membership, including Orthopedic Section Membership, required prior to onset of the residency program.
