Job DetailsJob Location: Pardeeville, WI 53954Philosophy:  The Delivery Professional provides outstanding customer service delivering a quality product safely and efficiently while representing the company in a friendly and professional manner. This team member is the face of the company and primary point of contact for our customers. Safety:   Personal Protective Equipment. The Delivery Professional wears appropriate safety equipment at all times, as prescribed by law, company policy, good judgment and jobsite requirements. Daily Vehicle Inspections. This team member thoroughly performs required daily vehicle inspections to prevent mechanical problems that could result in a safety incident or preventable downtime. Defensive Driving. The Delivery Professional drives defensively, using principles and techniques of defensive driving as prescribed by law and company policy. Alertness. This team member should remain alert at all times, keeping mindful of all potential hazards. Safe and Effective Offloading. The Delivery Professional handles and places materials on customer jobsites in a way that is both safe and which maximizes customer convenience. Every effort should be made to minimize or eliminate damage to the jobsite that might result from our delivery activities, as well as damage to our equipment while on the jobsite. Quality:  Product Quality. The Delivery Professional is responsible for the condition of materials delivered to the jobsite and should immediately report any defects observed in materials being delivered.  Communication. This team member should immediately report any issues that may impact company interests.  Efficiency:  Delivery Tickets. The Delivery Professional records all appropriate information, including any exceptional events, on the delivery ticket. In any situations where the delivery of materials requires the crossing of any areas which could be damaged, the Delivery Professional will secure a customer signature on the delivery ticket in accordance with company policy prior to proceeding. Attention to Time Standards. This team member should be aware of, and should safely work within, the allotted amount of time a given delivery should take. Each day, the Delivery Professional should focus on being efficient in their activities while prioritizing safety. Any situations where a delivery will take longer than expected should be communicated as soon as possible to allow for adjustment to the delivery plan. Driving Directions. The Delivery Professional should use the quickest or best legal truck route for the conditions and time of day. If the directions provided for a given job are not the best, quickest, or safest legal truck route, Delivery Professionals should immediately communicate the necessary changes to the appropriate team member. Customer Service: Service Attitude. This team member should seek to fulfill all customer needs that do not infringe upon principles of safety or integrity. Our attitude toward customers should be cheerful and pleasant, with a sense of urgency. The Delivery Professional should make the customer’s job as easy as possible, within the bounds of safety and common sense. Handling Complaints. The Delivery Professional should avoid confrontation with the customer. Any problems with customers should be reported as soon as possible to the appropriate team members. Appearance: Personal. This team member should always be well groomed, dressed in accordance with company policy and in good mental and physical condition. Trucks. The Delivery Professional should keep their truck in a clean, well- maintained, safe condition at all times. Delivery equipment is a mobile advertisement for our organization and should always be treated as such.  Facility. When requested, this team member will help keep the plant and yard clean and neat and will assist with other projects as required.  QualificationsClass B CDL with airbrakes
