Shift: Dayshift, M - F, 2nd Shift (Start Time: 3PM) or 3rd Shift (Start Time: 11:30PM) each shift is 8 hours, plus OT
Benefits

Responsibilities: 
  • Operate heat-treating furnaces and related production equipment to process automotive wheels and metal components according to established temperature, timing, and production specifications.
  • Load and unload parts, racks, baskets, and fixtures while maintaining proper material flow and ensuring components are positioned correctly throughout the heat-treating process.
  • Monitor furnace temperatures, cycle times, controls, and equipment operation, making approved process adjustments and reporting abnormalities to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
  • Inspect finished components for proper appearance, defects, and processing requirements, separating nonconforming material and notifying quality personnel when issues are identified.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and housekeeping to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable production operations.
  • Maintain accurate production records, process documentation, inspection results, and shift reports while following work instructions and quality procedures.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to address equipment issues, maintain production schedules, reduce downtime, and meet daily output requirements.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures, including proper PPE, safe material handling, machine guarding, and lockout/tagout requirements when applicable.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area around furnaces, conveyors, cooling systems, and other heat-treat equipment while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
