Job Duties
- Serve as the bank liaison with various legal firms when documents are prepared by outside counsel.Â
- Review UCC searches and filings to determine lien position.
- Review title commitments/policies to determine clear lien conveyance and perfection.
- Ensure loans are closed according to the approved terms and conditions within the Loan Approval Memorandum.
- Review and assess whether loans submitted for processing have the appropriate approval authority.
- Review loan documents to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Keep abreast of related industry and professional trends and products and services to ensure the current and future effectiveness and profitability of the bank’s services, policies, staff proficiencies and processes as they relate to assigned areas of responsibilities.
- Approve draw requests for large Lines of Credit and Construction/Development lines to ensure proper inspections have been performed and over-funding has not occurred.
- Work towards and assist in the positive image and growth of the bank.
- Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
- Perform other special projects or tasks as assigned in the Lending area.Â

About You
QualificationsÂ
- High School diploma or equivalent- required
- 1 year of experience with commercial loan documentation with a financial institution or law firm- required
- Sound knowledge of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of compliance with Federal and State regulations pertaining to the banking industry- required
- Strong knowledge of lending products and services.
- Self motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to handle high pressure situations.
- Good organizational, planning, time management and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written, communication and customer relations skills.
- Ability to set strategic goals and ensure high quality of products and services.

Work Schedule:Â Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break.Â

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
