Job DetailsJob Location: Promontory Development - Park City, UT 84098Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: DayJob Category: ManagementPromontory Club, a private luxury mountain club, located in Park City, Utah, is seeking two 2nd Assistant Superintendents to help lead the maintenance and operations of the Jack Nicklaus Painted Valley Signature and the Pete Dye Canyons golf courses. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the Lead Assistant and Superintendent to deliver exceptional playing conditions and support ongoing course improvements.   Duties and Responsibilities will be shared/alternated with another 2nd Assistant Monitor and log water usage in pump houses Maintain, make adjustments to, and repair Toro irrigation system – additional labor helps provide for larger scale repairs or projects. Calibrate sprayers and fertilizer spreaders, perform applications, and maintain accurate-detailed records and inventory through GreenKeeper software. Conduct weekend job assignments and meetings using TaskTracker Train crew members on all maintenance equipment and golf course practices Lead team to complete in-house improvement projects Perform maintenance tasks such as course set up, hand watering, moisture management, and data collection Winter work consists of snow removal (snowplows, tractors, snow blowers, and hand-shoveling  QualificationsWhat we’re looking for: A motivated and organized individual, with an eye for detail, who enjoys problem solving, working in a team environment and who strives to make course improvements and builds exceptional relationships with the maintenance staff, the professional golf staff, and our membership.    We aim to develop and provide valuable experience in irrigation and fertilizer/chemical application, and crew management to serve you as a solid foundation in your desire to become a Superintendent.
