PURPOSE OF POSITION:A Level III Fleet Maintenance Mechanic requires advanced experience and knowledgewith gas/diesel engines and hydraulics/electronics to perform maintenance on a variety of resort equipment. Â
RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
Performpreventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on all fleet vehiclesin an expedient fashion.Â
Maintain gas and diesel enginesÂ
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics/electrical componentsÂ
Train and mentor Level I and II technicians, giving advice and pointers to less experienced staffÂ
Assist Level IV technicians as neededÂ
Perform moderate fabrication projects and custom modificationsÂ
Improvise and pioneer efficient methods for service and repairsÂ
Assist with some administrative duties; finding parts, writing P.O.’s, filing records.Â
Document all parts usage and all work done on work ordersÂ
Follow all shop safety practices and dress code.Â
Maintain clean tools and work areaÂ
Manage motor pool and have accountability for damage on a daily basis.Â
Perform other tasks as assignedÂ

QUALIFICATIONS:Â
5+ years of related experienceÂ
High school education, formal automotive training, or equivalentÂ
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications a plusÂ
Specialty training such as hydraulics and/or electronicsÂ
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving recordÂ
Must be able to lift heavy items and work in adverse conditionsÂ
Have an ample tool inventory: full hand tools, full air tools, diagnostic, etc. Â
