Job DetailsJob Location: PARK CITY, UT - PARK CITY, UT 84098Freeski Skills Team Head Coach Park City Ski & Snowboard (PCSS) | Park City, UT We're looking for a Freeski Skills Team Head Coach to lead the development of our pre-FIS level athletes and help create the next generation of competitors, teammates, and leaders. This role is responsible for building strong technical foundations, guiding athlete progression, mentoring coaches, and fostering an inclusive culture focused on process over outcome. Schedule, Pay & Benefits This is a year-round full-time role that follows a typical seasonal rhythm of a high-performance snow sports program: Summer and off-season schedules are primarily weekday-based Winter schedule is primarily Wednesday-Sunday with regular on-snow coaching responsibilities Occasional evenings, weekends, camps, competitions, and travel throughout the year Pay & Benefits Pay range starts at $55,000 a year, DOE Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage HSA and 403(b) plans with employer contributions Professional development and coaching certification support Access to world-class training venues Domestic and international training camp and competition travel opportunities Why Here? Job Requirements Must-Haves US Ski & Snowboard Freeski Level 200 Certification or higher 5+ years of coaching experience Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and related technology platforms Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Nice-to-Haves Experience working within long-term athlete development (LTAD) models Experience with social media, video analysis, or athlete development technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Day in the Life Most of your day may be spent coaching athletes through the Skills Team pathway, reinforcing technical fundamentals, giving real-time feedback, and guiding progression. The focus is on helping athletes build skills step by step in a way that’s both structured and fun. Outside of direct coaching, you’ll help build training plans, support camps and travel opportunities, and stay connected with athletes, families, and staff. Working closely with the Freeski Director and Comp Team Head Coach to keep the program aligned and focused on athlete development.
