Compensation Overview 

This role is based on flagged hours.

Experience & Qualifications Needed:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 5+ years of automotive technician experience is required
  • Ability to drive and handle various vehicle makes models, and sizes
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, electrical, engine, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.

 Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities: 

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
  • Tear down, repair, replace, and/or rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems, steering systems, linkages, pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings for all vehicles.
  • Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels and repairs manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Adequately explains the technical diagnosis and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
