Wash Bay Attendant

Position Summary:

The Wash Bay Attendant’s primary role is to clean and maintain vehicles for customer vehicles and any vehicles on the lot. He or she will be responsible for cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles, this includes carpets, windows, all body panels, wheels etc. This role is also tasked with helping in other areas as well, including mowing, weed eating, keeping up with sidewalks and vehicle lots and dealing with the trash. In addition, he or she will be tasked with dealing with Repossession of vehicles, moving cars between lots and locations, and maintaining the overall appearance of the dealership lots.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primarily Transporting vehicles between locations
• Wash and maintain new cars, used cars, body shop vehicles, rental cars and service fleet. Keeping up with the grounds, mowing, weed eating, keeping up with sidewalks and doing the trash
• Clean and detail the exteriors of vehicles to prepare them for sale
• Cleans the interior of vehicles (Vacuuming, wiping of surfaces and removal of trash ETC.)
• Ensure that the wash bay is kept clean and free of debris
• Checks vehicle fluid levels as needed
• Helps with new and used vehicle deliveries and helping the commercial department with deliveries and transport of cars
• Maintain the appearance of the vehicles on the lots
• All additional tasks assigned by Detail Manager

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
• Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning
• Willing to help do grounds work around the facility
