MACI is a joint-venture between Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) and DENSO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This role supports safety first. It also handles all workers’ compensation claims and helps with general safety duties.

  • Support daily safety activities and help reduce workplace risks.
  • Complete safety checks, audits, job reviews, and ergonomic reviews.
  • Review accidents, near misses, and safety concerns. Help find the cause and recommend fixes.
  • Keep safety records, training records, incident logs, and safety reports up to date.
  • Manage the Massotherapy program, including scheduling, communication, and early support.
  • Handle workers’ compensation claims from start to finish, including filing, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Work with injured associates, medical providers, supervisors, Human Resources, and claim partners.
  • Help with return-to-work plans and modified duty when needed.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with safety programs, OSHA records, accident reports, workers’ compensation claims, or return-to-work plans preferred.
  • Good communication, organization, problem-solving, and computer skills required.
  • Must be able to handle private information with care.
