A multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for their growing office in Parsippany, New Jersey! 


Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-office and field tasks related to land surveying projects
  • Receive instructions on specific assignments, objectives and complex issues
  • Calculate/record field data accurately
  • Review job specifications and plan fieldwork methods/costs
  • Review/download field data
  • Prepare field notes and draw sketches for existing site conditions
  • Discuss projects with supervisor daily after preparing detailed daily job reports
  • Maintain/troubleshoot complex instrumentation
  • Apply standard scientific/engineering techniques, procedures and criteria as needed to adapt standard methods/techniques in the field and office

 

Requirements:

  • Professional Land Survey License
  • Substantial survey experience and strong knowledge of survey calculations, techniques and procedures
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and editing surveys
  • Understanding/experience for operating surveying equipment (Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS RTK & Static Observations)
  • Valid Driver’s License

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
