Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Floater Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and security of the premises. This role requires a blend of hospitality skills and security awareness, making it essential for candidates to possess strong conflict management abilities and relevant experience in security or law enforcement.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary.
  • Maintain a secure environment by enforcing hotel policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
  • Provide first aid assistance when required and ensure proper reporting of incidents.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or military personnel as needed for guest safety.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
  • Assist in training new front desk staff on security protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
  • Background in law enforcement, military, or security is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and conflict management techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
