CRM Strategic Account Manager 

 

JOB SUMMARY: The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Strategic Account Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of strategic and global customer data within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This role serves as a critical operational partner to Sales, Account Management, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams throughout North America by administering Opportunity and Account records, coordinating sales approval workflows, and ensuring compliance with established commercial policies through Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in CRM administration, sales operations, and data stewardship. They possess strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments while maintaining data quality and process consistency.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Create, update, and maintain Opportunity records for global and strategic customers in accordance with company standards and sales processes within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

  2. Coordinate Opportunity approval workflows with sales leadership and other stakeholders to comply with commercial policy.

  3. Collect, verify, and process required documentation and approvals to progress Opportunity records through defined sales stages.

  4. Support sales forecasting and reporting accuracy by maintaining timely and accurate Opportunity data.

  5. Build and maintain complex global customer Account hierarchies within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

  6. Utilize integrated Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) data to establish accurate parent-child relationships across customer organizations.

  7. Assist marketing team with lead management and campaigns associated with global and strategic customers

  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure customer hierarchies support sales strategy, reporting, and account planning.

  9. Serve as a subject matter expert for global and strategic account administration processes, providing guidance and support to CRM users and collaborating with the Customer Data Management team regarding Account structure, Opportunity management, and governance.

  10. Monitor global and strategic customer CRM processes and recommend improvements to increase accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

  11. Participate in CRM enhancement projects, testing, and process improvement initiatives.

  12. Contribute to other projects as assigned and perform additional duties as requested by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company, preferred

  • Experience supporting sales, sales operations, or customer master data administration

  • 3 years’ progressively responsible experience with CRM systems required, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 

  • Experience with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) data and corporate hierarchy management is a plus

     

COMPETENCIES (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

  • Strong proficiency in CRM, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including experience supporting sales operations, CRM data management, or customer master data administration

  • Ability to interpret and translate complex financial information into CRM records

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets

  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Intense focus on customer service

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to travel to and attend in-person training and special meetings at the Securitas office

  • Work primarily performed in an office, hybrid environment or remote environment
