Job Summary:

The Solutions Architect develops solutions and supports the sales team with proposal generation of security technology systems and implementation. The successful candidate for this position will be innovative, open-minded, self-motivated with a professional attitude, have good communication skills and is a team player.

Essential Functions:

Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and have excellent follow-up skills.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the sales team with site surveys and client needs analysis
Develop detailed and accurate security technology solutions development, to include access control, video surveillance, biometrics, network infrastructure, etc.
Generation of detailed technical scope of work and methods of procedure for solution implementation
Work with and develop relationships with technology partners and distribution channels
Analyze blueprints, technical design specifications, and site survey information to produce compliant and accurate engineered solutions and proposals to meet client operational and security needs.
Organize solution review and technical discussions with internal and external teams
Research and evaluate emerging security technologies in order to add tools to the solutions toolbox
Other duties as the business and client needs arise

Physical Demands & Environment:

Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Office environment with collaborative team
Travel up to 50% to client sites, which may include manufacturing, distribution centers, office buildings, and construction sites.

Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience in a similar position in the security technologies field
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
Experience with IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, and IP Networking
Manufacturer Certifications/Experience: Honeywell ProWatch, S2, Genetec, CCure 800/9000, Milestone, Salient, Open Path, or other security technology platforms
