The Cook position is responsible for providing assistance in all dining services functions, works diligently to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality and excellent dining experience with each meal. Prepares and serves resident meals and snacks that are palatable and appetizing in accordance with menus and recipes, making only authorized food substitutions. Inspects special diet trays to assure the correct diets are served.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or TRAINING:

  • Previous dining services experience at a senior living community desired, but not required.
