Job Overview:


The Accounting Manager will work as part of the accounting team. The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate with internal partners. 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 


Corporate Credit Card Program

  • Issue new cards, provide cardholder support, manage card program
  • Oversee transaction review process to ensure proper coding


Treasury/Disbursements

  • Coordinate with Controller and initiate wires and ACH payments as needed
  • Monitor and investigate positive pay and ACH exceptions
  • Process weekly check run and submit positive pay and NACHA files to bank


General Accounting

  • Provides oversight of and daily guidance to accounting team
  • Process monthly recurring journal entries
  • Prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review financials and help identify accruals as needed
  • Job cost analytical support
  • Maintain fixed asset schedule
  • Maintain capital lease assets schedule
  • Manage month-end closing process
  • Provide audit and tax support as needed
  • Ad Hoc reporting for Senior Management as requested
  • Organize and report on T&E analytics
  • File annual W9
  • Oversee sales/use tax filings
  • Maintain updated documentation on all SOPs


Inventory Management

  • Develop and maintain cycle count program in coordination with divisional leadership
  • Gather month-end inventory data and post adjustments as applicable
  • Maintain item master data

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • An urgency for deadlines and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Intermediate level or higher MS Excel skills
  • NetSuite or other ERP experience a plus
