LSI Staffing is hiring FITTERS at our client in NE Houston TX 1ST and 3RD shift available. 

Starting pay $21.00 depending on experince 
 
This is not a "pipefitter Job" no refinery workers this is a FITTER job please read the job description carefully!! 
 

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fitter to join our team. The Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical parts and equipment according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics

• Measure, cut, and shape materials to required specifications

• Assemble and install mechanical components and machinery

• Align and fit parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment

• Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on equipment

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

• Collaborate with welders, machinists, and other team members as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar mechanical role

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred (Not Required):

• Basic welding knowledge

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication environments
