Job Description:
A Peter Piper Pizza Team Leader has fun in a fast-paced, high energy environment, where Peter Piper Pizza will be the BEST gather place for food, family and fun. You will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of Restaurant Operations, from guest service to food preparation and cash handling! We are open weekends, late evenings and holidays, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to interact with customers: receive orders, process payments, respond appropriately to customer issues
- Preparation of products as ordered by customers
- Uncompromising standards in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining clean restrooms, building exterior, parking lot, dumpsters, sidewalk, kitchen and dining room
- Unloading and stocking is required
- Ability to operate cash register or point of sale terminal, as needed
Position Requirements
- Responsible for restaurant operations (labor, inventory variance, guest survey, Speed of service) during assigned shifts, including opening and closing restaurant
- Delegates in a way that encourages teamwork during shift to ensure that the restaurant operations comply with Company standards
- Motivates Team Members to exceed Guest expectations with food and friendly service in clean surroundings
- Takes initiative to immediately report violations of safety, sanitation, security, and other company policies to restaurant management and perform short-term solutions
- Completes checklists and procedures for cash reporting, inventory control, and scheduling during shift
- Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Pass the Company's background process
- Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- No visible tattoos on the head, neck or face above the uniform and no offensive tattoos
- May perform essential functions and duties, as listed in the restaurant Manager job description.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics
- Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional personal appearance
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to use a computer and calculator
- Willing to accomplish all restaurant tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
- Ability to resolve guest issues with tact
- Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to workdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Team Leader must obtain a health certification at his/her own expense within sixty (60) days and a valid, state approved Seller/Server Certification within (ninety) 90 days
