About the Role:

The Area Manager, Power & Reliability, plays a critical role in overseeing and ensuring the consistent delivery of reliable power services within a designated geographic area in the United States. This position is responsible for managing operational teams, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing strategies that enhance system reliability and customer satisfaction. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional departments to optimize power distribution, address outages promptly, and comply with regulatory standards. The Area Manager will lead initiatives to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability of power infrastructure while managing budgets and resources effectively. Ultimately, this role drives the continuous improvement of power reliability and operational excellence to support the company’s mission and customer commitments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in power distribution, utility operations, or a related industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a field operations or utility environment.
  • Strong knowledge of power systems, reliability standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with advanced power system technologies and smart grid applications.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, safety culture, and workforce development.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and community representatives regarding power reliability and outage management.
