Join Our Team at Lawrence Clarke, MD, : Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist Wanted in Pasadena, Texas! Are you a skilled and passionate audiologist looking for an exciting opportunity in a solo otolaryngologist office? Look no further! We are searching for a dedicated professional to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. We will consider part or full-time (Monday – Friday).

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic audiometry to assess and diagnose hearing issues.

• Perform videonystagmography to evaluate balance and related disorders.

• Provide expert guidance on hearing aid selection, sales, and service.

• Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing loss and balance disorders.

• Administer and interpret a variety of tests, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry.

• Provide counseling and education to patients regarding hearing loss, treatment options, and communication strategies.

• Fit and dispense hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other amplification systems.

• Conduct follow-up visits to ensure proper functioning and satisfaction with hearing aids.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with hearing loss.

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology.

 

Qualifications:

• Doctoral or Master's degree in Audiology.

• State licensure in Texas or eligible to obtain.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.

• Proficiency in conducting audiological assessments and interpreting test results.

• Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices.

• Experience with medical imaging systems used in audiology (e.g., otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response).

  • Bi-Lingual Preferred.
