3.0    Position Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day billing requirements related to inspection and testing services performed by the branches.  Responsible for taking the steps necessary to ensure that all field and / or laboratory data is billed and entered in the company and/or customer applications as per policies and procedures.


4.0    Minimum Requirements

•    Requires a HS Degree (or equivalent) and minimum 2 years of experience in billing systems. 

•    Must have strong math and computer skills and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously. 

•    Experience in Petroleum and Chemical Inspection and Testing Services desired.

•    Excellent communication skills in English (must write-read and be able to hold business conversations in English). 

•    Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Edge Browser, and Google Documents. Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently. Highly detail oriented. 

•    Experience in Microsoft Office 2010/2013 and Internet Explorer. 

•    Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently.


5.0    Responsibilities

•    Review completed invoices for accuracy and ensure all services performed and documented in each file are billed.

•    Compares work performed with client specific billing instructions to ensure invoices are billed according to contract terms.    

•    Prepare job cost estimates as needed.

•    Generate billing reports from internal systems as needed to complete tasks.

•    Compile and distribute client specific summary invoices as assigned.

•    Provide feedback and training to billing team to minimize errors and maximize revenue.
