Location:

This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working from a Kaiser Permanente regional office. Finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.

 

Department Details:

As part of the KP Health Plan Membership IT Organization, the Consumer Experience Product Team develops and supports self‑service capabilities, correspondence solutions, and notification services for Members, Employers, and Brokers. Our mission is to continuously deliver the best possible self‑service experience, which drives a strong need for highly talented individuals with fresh, innovative ideas.
It is a dynamic environment with significant opportunities for learning and growth. Ideal candidates will have experience in software development—particularly within the Azure Cloud ecosystem, modern JavaScript frameworks, mobile application development, or product management. Team members contribute directly to high‑impact digital solutions that enhance the experience of millions of users.

 

Internship Projects:

KP Membership Connect, Digital Membership ID Card and Employer and Broker Self Service.

 

Target Majors:

Computer Science; Data Science

 

Target Skillset:

Javascript Frameworks React/Angular/Node JS, Java, Oracle SQL. 

Product Management and Solutioning skills.
