We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work.

Job Information

Provide high level administrative and technical support. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating automation orders in and out of production by coordinating material, scheduling and problem solving while working with several departments (i.e. assembly shop, sales, expediting and warehouse, etc.). Other duties may include general clerical responsibilities, customer follow-up, preparing reports, compiling statistics, invoices and other data using spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new and revised orders
  • Review customer purchase orders
  • Compare customer p.o. to sales order file
  • Collect pick tickets and allocate products to order
  • Arrange shipments to external vendors
  • Create spreadsheet for production planning 
  • Fulfill special customer requirements
  • Review data packages and release for assembly
  • Work with assembly technicians, as needed
  • Schedule and assist inspections
  • Close out orders
  • Provide pallet count, as needed
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED required 
  • 1 year of experience in area of responsibility 
  • Must have a high level of competency in administrative, organizational and interpersonal as well as communication skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers and software, particularly MS Office tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
  • Problem solving skills
  • Light to medium lifting
  • Overtime may be required occasionally

  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Continually required to talk or hear
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
  • Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office and warehouse environment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
