Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wastewater Intern - Summer 2026 to join our team! In this role you will get to work with our experienced engineering staff and teams in the field of water and wastewater engineering with a focus on water and wastewater treatment, water distribution, and wastewater collection systems. Our interns receive close supervision, guidance, and mentoring from professional engineers and designers, learning valuable skills on the job and working on real projects with opportunities of performing a variety of assignments to develop professional work knowledge and abilities

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting engineers with technical tasks, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Working with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to achieve project goals.
  • Preparing technical documentation, reports, and manuals.
  • Assisting with project support tasks, including scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Conducting research to support engineering projects and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Participating in quality assurance processes, including inspections and audits.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering curriculum (civil or environmental) at an accredited college or university and have completed typically 2+ year of study.
  •  A present GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
  • Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation.
  • PC literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
