Aerospace Metal Spinner – Precision Work
Location: Pasadena
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience
We are looking for a highly skilled metal spinner who takes pride in precision craftsmanship. We are looking for a spinner who understands how to control material flow and wall thickness — not just someone who pushes metal
Our shop manufactures aerospace components, and we need someone who can produce tight-tolerance spun parts (±0.0005") with excellent consistency and finish.
If you’re the type of spinner who understands tool pressure, material flow, and how to work a part without forcing it, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
-
Set up and operate manual metal spinning lathes
-
Produce tight-tolerance aerospace components
-
Work from engineering drawings and mandrels
-
Spin parts in aluminum, stainless, and high-performance alloys
-
Perform in-process inspection with precision gauges
-
Work closely with our machining and inspection teams
What We're Looking For
-
5+ years metal spinning experience (aerospace preferred)
-
Ability to hold tight tolerances and consistent wall thickness
-
Strong blueprint reading skills
-
Ability to set up jobs independently
-
Pride in producing high-quality work
What We Offer
-
$25 – $45+ per hour depending on experience
-
Stable long-term aerospace work
-
Overtime available
-
Clean, professional shop environment
-
Supportive team
If you’re an experienced spinner who values precision and craftsmanship, we’d like to hear from you.
