Scaler Opr Yards JD:

Scaling cattle, sex count, inventory cattle, lot sheeting cattle, moving cattle from trucks to pens. Clean up yards area. In addition to other various responsibilities. Applicant must have good communication and organizational skills and be able to perform tasks with limited supervision. Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching. This position can work in a cold, damp environment or hot, humid environment and on slippery surfaces. Team member must be dependable, work well with others, self-motivated. Applicant must have 1+ years work experience in the Harvest division. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Team members must have no more then 6 attendance points and must not have been suspended in the past 12 months

“This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.

Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining product flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures

Any listed amounts represent the base pay range. Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson’s total compensation package.
