Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Inside Machinists for projects located in the Green Cove Springs, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Operate manual lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
Machine, repair, and fit components to proper specifications
Repair ship and marine components including pumps, valves, bearings, and shafts
Inspect finished work to ensure proper measurements and tolerances
Follow all jobsite and shop safety procedures

Requirements

Previous experience as a Manual Machinist
Strong experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
Ability to read and work from blueprints
Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
Experience repairing pumps, valves, bearings, shafts, or similar mechanical components
Marine or ship repair machining experience preferred
