Schedule: Full - Time

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Coordinate surgical block times to maximize the use of operating rooms, equipment, and staff while balancing surgeon preferences and patient needs.

• Work with clinic teams and patient access to collect accurate demographic, insurance, and billing data to prevent care delays.

• Guide patients through their presurgery steps with empathy and clear communication.

• Adapt quickly to day-of changes, efficiently rescheduling procedures for urgent urological cases or emergencies.

• Keep clear communication flowing between surgeons, clinic staff, and hospital admissions.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need

• Experience in surgical scheduling, OR block management, or complex medical appointment coordination (urology or ambulatory experience is a plus).

• Experience entering patient data, verifying insurance, and navigating Athena.
