Job Summary
The Pre-Shipping Inspection (PSI) Operator is the key execution position in the quality inspection link, mainly responsible for the production process of photovoltaic modules and the standardized inspection of the finished product to ensure that the product meets the quality requirements. This position needs to be familiar with the production process of photovoltaic modules, inspection standards and the ability to skillfully operate equipment, to ensure the product pass rate by strictly following the inspection process, and to promote the achievement of the factory quality objectives.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Standardized Inspection Operation
- According to the enterprise quality standards and customer requirements, assist the supervision of photovoltaic module inspection tasks, including appearance inspection, electrical performance testing and safety performance inspection.
Device Operation & Maintenance
- Skilled operation of EL detector, IV curve tester, insulation voltage tester and other equipment to ensure that the test data is accurate and reliable.
- Regularly check, clean and calibrate the equipment, and cooperate with technical personnel to complete equipment maintenance.
Disposal of Non-conforming Products
- Replace and rework the components judged unqualified by the supervision, and hand over the reworked products to the production package for finishing work.
Data Recording & Feedback
- Organize and output daily inspection batch test data (IV data, EL data and double-sided rate data) on time.
- Timely sort out the replacement details of unqualified components selected by the output supervision, summarize and analyze the unqualified proportion details of inspected goods, and feedback the quality PQC for tracking and improvement.
Main Task
Daily Inspection
- Appearance Inspection: Assist the supervisor in the inspection process of the product turnover handling and size measurement work.
- Electrical Performance Test: Operate the IV tester to retest the components' power, voltage, current and other parameters.
- Double-sided rate test: Operate the IV tester to complete the number of back-side tests required by the order.
- EL Test: Operate the EL detector to retest the components.
- Safety Test:Â According to customer requirements to perform insulation resistance test, withstand voltage test and other basic safety projects.
Equipment & Area Management
- Spot check of equipment before daily tests (e.g. commissioning all machines to the required state, calibrating IV testers, etc.)
- Maintain inspection area 5S (e.g., tidy, rectify, sweep, clean, quality) to ensure the environment is clean and orderly.
Exception Response & Capability Improvement
- In the process of inspection, when the problem cannot be solved, immediately report to the superior to solve the problem and learn the solution.
- Assist new staff training, transfer inspection experience and operation skills.
Qualifications
- Understand the basic structure and common defect types of photovoltaic modules.
- Proficient in operating EL/IV testers, scanning gun and other tools, received equipment operation training.
- Basic data recording and analysis skills (e.g. Excel or MES).
- Meticulous, patient, responsive, responsible.
