3rd Shift – Sunday-Thursday

Shift Hours - 10pm-6:30am, Overtime Hours 7:30pm-6:00am

Shift Differential - $1.00

 

 

Purpose Of the role 

 

The Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and automation systems. This role ensures machinery operates at optimal performance to minimize downtime, improve operational efficiency, and sustain production quality standards. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production and automation equipment to ensure smooth operation. 

  • Develop, refine, and document preventive maintenance procedures. 

  • Maintain automation equipment and related machinery according to engineering and design standards. 

  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, mechanical failures, and electrical issues. 

  • Troubleshoot and repair defective circuitry, electronic components, and control circuits. 

  • Install machinery and equipment to support operational improvements. 

  • Utilize machining tools such as mills, lathes, and surface grinders as needed. 

  • Perform welding tasks including MIG and TIG applications. 

  • Use machine data to analyze equipment performance and determine necessary adjustments. 

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and demonstrate knowledge of production processes. 

  • Repair electrical and pneumatic devices and associated systems. 

  • Install and maintain electrical control systems, solid-state equipment, and automation components. 

  • Troubleshoot automation equipment including AC/DC motors, control cabinets, airlines, power supplies, and frequency drives. 

  • Perform basic PLC programming for equipment troubleshooting and process improvements. 

  • Work with RO (Reverse Osmosis) and DI (Deionized) water treatment systems. 

 

Required Qualifications 

 

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. 

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, positive attitude. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong self-starter. 

  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions. 

  • Proficient in the use of basic power tools (drills, saws, grinders, drill press, pneumatic and hydraulic tools). 

  • Hands-on experience using voltmeters and other test/measuring equipment. 

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot up to 480V 3-phase equipment and control circuits. 

  • Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, and frequency drive programming. 

  • Strong logical thinking and problem‑solving skills, especially related to automation equipment, wiring, airlines, motors, and control cabinets. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

 

  • Experience with machining tools (mill, lathe, surface grinder). 

  • Experience with MIG and TIG welding. 

  • Familiarity with RO and DI water treatment systems. 

  • Advanced PLC programming or automation troubleshooting skills. 

  • Prior experience installing electrical control systems and solid-state equipment.
