The position involves conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with coding regulations and to address payer denials effectively.
The role also includes assisting in the creation of EMR templates to enhance accurate documentation for Evaluation and Management coding levels.
Additionally, the candidate will respond to requests and audits from government and other payers regarding medical records.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in coding and compliance is required for this role.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Responsible for audits which are internal record reviews for compliance with coding regulations and guidelines in order to provide rebuttals to CMS or other payer denials and to assist and improve on physician correct coding/documentation education. Provides assistance with the creation of EMR templates in order to to improve capture of correct documentation to support E&M (Evaluation and Management Coding) levels. Responds to government and other payers records requests and audits.
