Firematic, a family-owned business with over 50 years of service, is seeking a self-starter to diagnose, repair, and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles.
Candidates should have a positive attitude and knowledge of diesel engines is preferred, along with a valid CDL B driver's license or a willingness to obtain one within the first year.
The position requires familiarity with maintaining automotive, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, as well as small gas engines and related equipment.
This full-time role offers a starting rate of $20-35 per hour, depending on experience and certifications, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy-duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment.

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Self-starter with positive can-do attitude

Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred

Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year

Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred

ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30.

Starting rate $20-35/hr depending on experience and certifications
