RH is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team in delivering first-class service. This role will be responsible for accurate receiving, picking, storage, put-away and shipment of RH product.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
- Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials in appropriate areas using a forklift or other power equipment
- Inspect and maintain the fork-lift and other equipment to ensure the facility and materials are neat, clean, and orderly
- Use radio equipment for picking, receiving, put-away, and load functions
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, report quality variances
- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
- Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years of distribution experience
- Basic mathematics and reading skills
- Strong understanding of inventory flow
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
OUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
- Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
