About the location:

SECURITY SPECIALIST 

We are seeking a Security Specialist who is passionate about safety, leadership, and delivering exceptional service in a luxury hospitality environment. This role plays a critical part in protecting our guests, employees, and resort while fostering a proactive culture of safety and compliance. 

As a Security Specialist, you will lead and support safety programs, emergency preparedness initiatives, and training efforts across the resort—ensuring we uphold the highest standards of care and operational excellence 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Lead and maintain resort-wide safety, health, and compliance programs 

• Plan and deliver safety training (OSHA, CPR/AED, Fire Brigade, and more) 

• Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, and Fire Brigade operations 

• Conduct inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations 

• Partner with departments to identify risks and improve safety performance 

• Maintain compliance documentation and certifications 

• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with outside agencies 

• Provide guidance and leadership support across resort operations 

WHAT TO BRING 

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States legal work authorization in United States 

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in safety, security, emergency management, or related field 

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, emergency response, and risk management 

• Experience developing and delivering training programs 

• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence a culture of safety 

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills 

• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License 

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)  

• Preferred: EMR/EMT Certification, OSHA 30, FEMA ICS certifications, or similar credentials
