Dietary Aide

Evening Shift

Pawtucket Falls Healthcare Center is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. The Dietary Aide plays a key role in supporting the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for residents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Compassionate and respectful toward elderly residents

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal tray preparation and delivery in accordance with resident dietary needs
  • Serve meals and beverages to residents in dining rooms and resident units
  • Set up, clean, and sanitize dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils
  • Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food prep as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate meal service
  • Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff
