Job Summary

The Sports Information Assistant/Coordinator will develop content for marketing, advertising, social media and brand storytelling. They will work closely with the Athletics, Recreation and Wellness Specialist to create high-quality posts, reels, shorts, photos, video and graphic content for social media, websites, templates and other digital platforms. We are looking for an enthusiastic content producer excited to attend events, engage with students and capture significant moments for CCRI Athletics. This position is on-site and requires a presence on campus, with evenings and weekends included. This position should greatly enhance both the external and internal image of the department. They will work closely with our community to increase event engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and execute multimedia content, including video, audio, photography, graphics, campaigns and events.

  • Provide game-day oversight for athletic contests.

  • Work with administration on community support efforts.

  • Support oversight of the Fitness Centers, Dance studio, and drop-in classes, as needed.

  • Assist Department of Athletics, Recreation and Wellness with Open House marketing efforts

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create digital content that aligns with the university’s messaging, brand and goals.

  • Work with CCRI Marketing Team on website content and new marketing materials for CCRI Athletics and Recreation.

  • Provide support and input for recreation and wellness programs, as needed, in collaboration with the Director of Athletics, Recreation and Wellness.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates Degree

  • Familiarity with current digital marketing trends in YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and the ability learn new platforms and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Previous experience in sports production or sports creative content creation
