Job DetailsJob Location: Classic Rock Harrisburg - Harrisburg, PA 17109Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 HourlyCNC Operator – 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) Shift Differential: +$2.00/hour The CNC Operator is responsible for operating stone CNC machines, including sawjets and routers, to ensure accurate and efficient production in accordance with fabrication drawings, quality standards, and production schedules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret fabrication drawings to execute production tasks accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Set up CNC machines and run programs according to the production schedule. Follow all procedures established by management, including daily tool dressing and tool calibration. Identify and address quality concerns immediately, communicating directly with the Operations Manager or Production Coordinator. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines as required. Physical Demands Regularly perform physical activities including reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and handling materials. Lift materials weighing up to 100 pounds. No special vision requirements. Work Environment Indoor, non-temperature-controlled fabrication facility. Noise levels typically range from loud to very loud. Steel-toe or rubber boots are required in all production areas. QualificationsEducation & Experience High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); or Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Language Skills Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, fabrication documents, and procedure manuals. Write routine correspondence and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Mathematical Skills Perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Apply a basic understanding of geometry to support accurate machine operation and production. Reasoning Ability Apply common sense and follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions. Identify and resolve problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized production situations. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Forklift Certification required (training provided by Classic Rock's certified trainer). Certification must be renewed every three years.
