Talent Acquisition & Development Manager

Looking for an HR role where you can do more than fill open positions? Help us build the team, develop our managers, and shape the employee experience as Yingst Building Group continues to grow.

Yingst Building Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Development Manager to lead our recruiting, onboarding, and employee development efforts. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys finding great people, building relationships, and creating practical programs and processes that help employees and managers succeed.

You will work closely with leaders and hiring managers across the organization. You will own the recruiting process while helping us strengthen onboarding, performance management, manager training, and professional development.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from position opening through offer acceptance
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and the qualities needed for success
  • Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Build relationships and candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Prepare offers and coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment requirements
  • Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience
  • Track recruiting results and identify opportunities to improve our hiring strategies and processes

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Lead and continuously improve YBG's onboarding program
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and help create a consistent experience across departments
  • Partner with managers to support employees as they integrate into the organization
  • Evaluate onboarding effectiveness and identify ways to strengthen employee engagement and retention

Talent Development & Manager Training

  • Develop and facilitate practical training that helps managers become stronger leaders
  • Develop and continuously improve the Company's performance management and review process
  • Create tools and resources to help managers provide effective coaching, feedback, and performance conversations
  • Coordinate employee training and professional development initiatives
  • Identify organizational training needs and recommend programs that support Company goals
  • Support succession planning and leadership development
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continually improve development programs

Human Resources Support

  • Partner on strategic HR initiatives, organizational development, and special projects
  • Assist with developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Partner with the Compliance team on employment-related processes and requirements
  • Provide support across Human Resources as the needs of the organization evolve

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, human resources, training, or organizational development
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple positions or departments
  • Experience developing or facilitating employee or manager training programs preferred
  • Strong interviewing, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to build trust and work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms

Position Details

  • Full-time position
  • Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Office-based
  • Occasional travel to recruiting events, job fairs, training sessions, and Company locations may be required
  • This position is not eligible for the Company's bonus program
