FERTILIZER BAGGER

Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the intermountain west. We are currently accepting applications for a skilled FERTILIZER BAGGER at the Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant in Payson, Utah.

SUMMARY: We are looking to add an additional employee to our fertilizer manufacturing team. We manufacture and mix a variety of fertilizer products for the agricultural industry. We are seeking individuals that enjoy working with their brains and their hands in a warehouse manufacturing setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Mixing and manufacturing a variety of fertilizer products. Ensuring the manufacturing processes are completed precisely by following strict operating procedures and established manufacturing practices. Squarely and uniformly stack bags of fertilizer after they are filled. Calculate figures and amounts using basic math skills. Work around and handle hazardous material properly.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or GED, basic math skills, ability to stay on task and work quickly and accurately under pressures of a fast changing schedule. Equipment operation ability, such as skid steer loaders and forklift, is highly desired. Ability to stand for extended periods of time during shift. Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. during shift.
