Double Bull Taphouse is looking for a Sous Chef who can bring energy, leadership, and consistency to a high-volume kitchen. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action, developing cooks, and delivering great food that keeps guests coming back again and again. 

We're not looking for someone to hide in the office—we're looking for a chef who leads from the line, jumps in when needed, and takes pride in building a strong kitchen culture. 

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Leading the kitchen during busy lunch, dinner, and game-day services 
  • Coaching and developing cooks to improve skills and consistency 
  • Ensuring every plate leaving the kitchen meets our standards 
  • Maintaining food quality, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness 
  • Managing inventory, ordering, and helping control food costs 
  • Ensuring all prepped items are done correctly and meet our standards 
  • Assisting with scheduling and labor management 
  • Contributing ideas for new menu items that fit the Double Bull vibe 
  • Working alongside the team to keep service smooth and efficient 

What We're Looking For 

  • 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience 
  • Strong line cooking skills and a passion for great food 
  • Bi-Lingual or a proficiency in English and Spanish 
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable 
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Someone who can stay cool under pressure and keep the team focused 
  • A hands-on leader who isn't afraid to jump on a station when needed
