Part Time Security Officer

Location: Peabody, MA

Shift(s): Friday-Sunday, afternoon/evening hours (Shifts can vary depending on site needs)

*Must have weekend availability

Pay Rate: $18.03/hour

Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Weekend Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a high-traffic retail property in Peabody, MA. This role requires strong observational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure safety and security
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
Provide assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and staff
Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies
Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous security or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
