Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients
  • Answer and manage multiple phone lines efficiently
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Assist patients with questions and concerns
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Have a working knowledge of medical and vision insurance and billing processes
  • Collect patient payments and provide accurate information regarding balances and services
  • Communicate with patients through phone, text, and other communication platforms
  • Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
  • Navigate multiple software systems for scheduling, texting, insurance verification, and patient communication
  • Work closely with doctors and other team members to ensure a smooth patient flow
  • Multitask and prioritize responsibilities while maintaining a high level of customer service
