Help Keep Cole’s Flea Market Looking Its Best

Cole’s Flea Market, Pearland’s premier shopping and entertainment destination, is looking for a dependable and experienced Painter/Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance and Site Services team.

This hands-on position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys a variety of projects, and can work independently to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-kept property.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What You’ll Do

Prepare drywall, wood, metal, and other surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment.
Mix and match paint colors, finishes, and textures.
Protect floors, fixtures, windows, and surrounding areas before beginning work.
Complete painting, touch-ups, and general upkeep throughout buildings, food stands, offices, warehouses, seller spaces, carts, rides, and fencing.
Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance projects.
Safely operate hand and power tools, pressure washers, ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
Track work orders, log hours, and communicate project updates.
Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and disposal of hazardous materials.
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Must be at least 18 years old.
Four years of painting, construction, facilities maintenance, or related experience is preferred.
Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, color matching, and general repairs.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic digital work-order platforms.
Dependable, organized, and able to solve problems independently.
Positive attitude and ability to communicate professionally with team members and management.
Willingness to follow all company policies and safety procedures.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, crawl, climb, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, push, and pull.
Ability to safely lift and carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
