The Community Supports Supervisor position is a critical role responsible for overseeing daily operations within a designated team of part time staff to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with organizational standards. This role involves coordinating team activities, managing workflow, and providing guidance and support to team members to achieve departmental goals. The Community Supports Supervisor acts as a liaison between management and staff, ensures that services to individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities receive assistance with activities of daily living and transportation services as needed.  This position will also carry a caseload and attending interdisciplinary meetings as required.  The Community Supports Supervisor will facilitating communication and fostering a positive work environment and assist the work center staff as needed. Additionally, this position requires monitoring performance metrics, ensure staff are current with their required training modules, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Ultimately, the Community Supports Supervisor ensures that operational objectives are met while promoting professional development and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience
  • Must posses a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of team members to meet operational targets and deadlines.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff to enhance productivity and professional growth.
  • Monitor workflow and optimize efficiency and address any operational challenges promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards within the team.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on team performance, attendance, and accurate timekeeping.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members and upper management to support organizational goals.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new employees within the team.
