Tecknowledgey Inc. is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician for a full-time position in Peekskill, NY, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The salary for this role ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in electronic assembly and possess active soldering certifications, preferably J-STD-001.
The technician will be responsible for hand-soldering small electronic assemblies, executing epoxy encapsulation, and adhering to strict laboratory procedures.
U.S. citizenship is required for the position, and strong computer literacy is also necessary.

Location: On-site at 8 John Walsh Blvd, Peekskill, NY 10566

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: ~$60K Based on Experience

Responsibilities

Position Requirements

This position involves the assembling, testing and documenting of electrical products for both commercial and military use and could include some new product development.

Qualifications

- Experience: 3+ years in electronic assembly

- Basic hand soldering skillsEpoxy encapsulation and cable assemblies.

- Writing assembly/inspection procedures that are clear and accurate

- Experience with electronics lab test equipment.

- Following written procedures.

- Multitasking and collaborating with a small team.
