We are seeking a driven and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support Vertiv’s growing manufacturing operations in Pelzer, SC. This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and stores activities, including receipt, storage, kitting, and issuance of raw materials and bought-out parts. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of approximately 10 associates while ensuring inventory accuracy, space optimization, material availability, safety compliance, and audit readiness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide overall supervision of warehouse/stores operations, including receipt, storage, kitting, and issuance of materials.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10 warehouse associates; ensure safe work practices and adherence to standard work.
  • Manage raw material and PR material kitting and issue activities to support uninterrupted production flow.
  • Track receipt of bought-out and volumetric materials; communicate receipt information to cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including material additions and updates to line shortage files.
  • Support space management initiatives to optimize storage layout, flow, and material accessibility.
  • Maintain ISO records and support internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate MRN, STSO, scrap, and rejection activities; support GAR and rejection activities in the absence of designated leads.
  • Prepare and maintain battery consumption reports and communicate with the Safety Officer as required.
  • Support customer inspections related to spares and material documentation.
  • Maintain records where Quality has issued Test Certificates for components.
  • Participate in audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Serve as backup support in the absence of the Warehouse/Stores Manager, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, stores, or inventory supervision within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading hourly teams in a fast-paced operation
  • Strong understanding of material flow, inventory control, and kitting operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in ISO-compliant or audited environments
  • ERP or inventory management system experience
  • Forklift certification or ability to be trained
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
  • Manufacturing and warehouse environment
  • Working around moving equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
